We Are Hiring – Associate Functional Consultant

 

CINF Ltd is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Functional Consultant to join its Competency Centre team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, supporting project delivery, and ensuring stakeholder needs are met with a high level of professionalism, in line with the company's QMS and values.



Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand and capture business needs and objectives
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new software projects or system enhancements
  • Translate business goals into functional features
  • Assist in conducting gap analysis and feasibility studies to propose potential software solutions
  • Collaborate with the project team to prioritize deliverables and manage project timelines
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on progress and ensure alignment with project goals
  • Support the quality assurance process by helping to define test cases and ensure the system or software meets business requirements
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work with stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date and reflects any changes in project scope or requirements
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve business performance through the use of technology
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development and business analysis
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Business Information Systems or a related Finance/IT field
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven track record of gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with project management and business analysis tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to consult face-to-face on site with customers
  • Strong functional skills in translating business requirements into technical tasks
  • Fast learner, agile, and self-motivated, with good listening skills and discipline in execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a client-oriented mindset
