We are Hiring – Guide

 

Are you passionate about showcasing the beauty of Mauritius while delivering exceptional service to international visitors? Silver Wings Travel is looking for a dedicated and experienced Guide to join our team!

 

As a Guide, you will be the face of Silver Wings to our inbound customers. Your main responsibility will be to offer top-tier guiding services to overseas guests, ensuring they enjoy a seamless and enriching travel experience while adhering to the company’s standards and procedures.



Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full delivery of agreed itineraries
  • Greet and welcome overseas guests on tour.
  • Clearly explain and describe points of interest across Mauritius
  • Provide assistance and guidance on additional local activities
  • Promote and upsell local attractions and services
  • Maintain a friendly, engaging, and professional demeanour
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations
  • Work with management to develop new tour routes based on guest interests
  • Perform any other cognate duties assigned by management
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum School Certificate (SC)
  • Experience as a tour guide is an advantage
  • 2-5 years’ experience working with the Indian and Middle Eastern Markets
  • Passionate about travel and culture
  • Willingness to work during evenings and weekends
  • Fluency in conversing in Hindi or Arabic would be an advantage
