We Are Hiring – Trainee – Learning & Development Coordinator (8-Month Contract)

 

Currimjee Jeewanjee and Company Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee – Learning & Development Coordinator to join its Corporate HR – Learning & Development team on a temporary 8-month contract.



Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Learning & Development Manager.
  • Manage training records, bookings, invoices, payments, and receipts using the UNIFI Training Management System.
  • Liaise with the Accounting Department, Business Units, and Training Administrators to ensure timely processing of training bookings, invoices, and payments.
  • Support the tracking, reconciliation, and coordination of HRDC refunds for CJCO and Business Units under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential training attendance registers, participant records, and financial documentation.
  • Act as Training Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, enrolments, course assignments, and completion tracking.
  • Generate basic LMS reports and provide first-level system support to employees and managers.
  • Support MQA training course submissions and assist with HRDC G1 and G3 applications in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an auditable filing system for MQA and HRDC documentation and track submission and approval timelines.
  • Assist in the coordination of training programs, workshops, and learning events, including logistics, attendance, and post-training follow-ups.
  • Support post-training evaluations, consolidation of feedback, and preparation of summary reports.
  • Act as a coordination point between L&D, HR, Finance, Business Units, trainers, and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities for administrative improvement and demonstrate strong learning agility and professionalism.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or final-year student).
  • Good administrative, organisational, and documentation skills with good numerical accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with systems, databases, and MS Office applications.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Discreet, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
