Publié le 05 juin 2024 Leadership team activity at the Ebony Forest
As part of our World Environment Day 2024 celebrations, our leadership team participated in a tree planting activity at the Ebony Forest Reserve.

This emblematic forest is home to six of the island’s nine endemic bird species and serves as a precious biodiversity area and a protected sanctuary. Since 2021, the Currimjee Foundation has supported this vital ecosystem's restoration, with our employees playing a key role in each activity.

This time, our team dedicated 0.5 hectares at Ebony Forest, planting over 700 endemic plants. During our visit, the team also learned about efforts to reverse habitat degradation and manage invasive species to protect the unique biodiversity.
