Fighting water waste and promoting water recycling among the younger generation is becoming of utmost importance. The Currimjee Foundation has initiated a rainwater harvesting project in around ten schools, which resulted in huge savings and contributed to reducing rainwater runoff.

Fighting water waste and promoting water recycling among the younger generation is becoming of utmost importance. The Currimjee Foundation has initiated a rainwater harvesting project in around ten schools, which resulted in huge savings and contributed to reducing rainwater runoff. The rainwater harvesting systems put in place for the schools has also helped educate students on the importance of preserving our natural resources. A total of eleven schools have benefited from this innovative water harvesting system.

The beneficiaries of this initiative are Hindu Girls College, Loreto College Curepipe, Notre Dame College, Mauritia Institute, Mauritius College Boys, Mauritius College Girls, St Helena College, Notre Dame de la Confiance RCA and St Jean Bosco RCA.
