Sustainability must be embedded in the way we make decisions, run organisations and create long-term value.

Speaking at the first training session of the NextGen Conservation Project, launched by Baker Tilly Mauritius, Ravi Luckhun, Environment & Sustainability Manager at Currimjee Group, shared practical insights on how businesses can contribute to a more sustainable future.

The project, initiated by Green Analytics in collaboration with Saska Consulting and the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), aims to strengthen the knowledge and capabilities of emerging conservation leaders through capacity-building sessions on sustainability, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and ecosystem restoration.

Drawing on his experience in advancing sustainability initiatives, Ravi encouraged participants to:

  • Embed sustainability into business decisions and everyday operations.
  • Harness nature-based solutions to strengthen resilience and create long-term value.
  • Recognise that environmental stewardship is not only the right thing to do, but also a strategic business imperative.

Supporting initiatives such as the NextGen Conservation Project reflects Currimjee Group's purpose of "Building a Better Tomorrow" and our commitment to "We Care. We Do."

We believe lasting impact starts with people. By sharing knowledge and empowering the next generation of conservation leaders, we are helping build a more resilient and sustainable future.
