Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: blink by Emtel Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026
On March 6th, blink by Emtel hosted a special event at Emtel World to honour women entrepreneurs within its merchant network.
The initiative provided a dedicated marketplace for local women-led businesses in the beauty, food, and lifestyle sectors to showcase and sell their products directly to Emtel employees.
To further drive support, Emtel provided exclusive vouchers to female staff to spend with the participating merchants, fostering both immediate sales and long-term visibility.
This event highlights blink’s commitment to going beyond digital payments by building a supportive community, promoting financial inclusion, and empowering the talented women driving the Mauritian economy.
