Pink October with a Purpose
October is a month to pause and take care of ourselves, because WE MATTER.
This year again, with the NGO Breast Cancer Care, we offered our teams a Breast Cancer Awareness Webinar and free screening sessions with a qualified medical practitioner. 110 employees took part.
Our hope is that screening becomes part of everyone's health routine, not just something we think about in October. Early detection saves lives.
For 5 years now, our subsidiary Emtel has also supported Breast Cancer Care, notably through an empowerment programme for women living with breast cancer in Rodrigues. This year, that support continues.
Know your risk. Know the signs. Keep talking. Keep supporting. Keep acting.
