The launch of the new PET3 bottling line on 28 September represents a significant leap forward, combining enhanced production capacity with meaningful sustainability outcomes:
- 8 million litres of water saved annually
- 56% less electricity consumed per bottle produced
- 100% recycled PET bottles introduced for Pepsi Extra Fizz
- Ink-free laser coding technology
- Increased use of recycled packaging materials
Supported by a Rs 240 million sustainable loan from MCB, this investment reinforces QBL's commitment to responsible manufacturing and a more sustainable future for Mauritius.
